With the combined experiences during his tenure as a child welfare professional and as a medical social worker in an acute care setting, Javier is bridging the gap in Central Florida by providing counseling and psychosocial services catered to the adolescent & young adult community (AYA).
Javier obtained his B.S in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of Central Florida. He began his career within the State of Florida Child Welfare System and swiftly transitioned into the medical field after obtaining his Masters in Social Work and a minor in Military Social Work. Javier has experience in serving individuals with a diagnosis of a chronic illness and/or those who have experienced adverse childhood experiences. In addition, Javier strives to provide compassionate therapeutic services to Central Florida's First Responders, Healthcare Workers, Military personnel and members of the LGTBQ+ community.

JANELLE GONZALEZ

Janelle Gonzalez obtained her Master’s in Clinical Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor for those seeking licensure. Her experience ranges from education, substance abuse, adolescent and teen suicide and medical/healthcare. Janelle has 8+ years working with adolescents and teens both in the education setting as well in crisis and mental health settings. With a focus on teen depression and suicide, her modalities often include solution-focused therapy as well CBT and the strengths perspective. Janelle has experienced working with adults in Drug Court and facing substance abuse. She has worked with adults, children and families with mental health concerns as well as family dynamic solutions. Janelle has worked with individuals, children and families in the medical field who are navigating a new medical diagnosis, employees experiencing increased burnout, and navigating medical needs.

JUSTINE GROCE
LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Justine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida. She is dedicated to counseling adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, and women’s issues. Her experience stems from being a Child Welfare Professional who investigated abuse, neglect, and abandonment of children in the State of Florida in an effort to ensure their safety and well-being. She has been in the field of Medical Social Work for the past 4 years supporting chronically Ill and medically complex patients and their caregivers through stressful and emotionally draining hospital stays. During this time, Justine has had to assess youth experiencing suicidal ideations, abuse/neglect, and supporting individuals who were given a new medical diagnosis.
Justine obtained her undergraduate and Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in 2017. Her approach to counseling is grounded in empathy, compassion, and utilizing a client centered approach to help clients feel heard, increase self-esteem, manage stress, and navigate life transitions.
